Our admin team reviews registrations and connection requests for basic consistency and red flags, but this review is not a substitute for professional background screening. Organizations working with children, seniors, people with disabilities, or other vulnerable populations are solely responsible for conducting any screening they determine appropriate.

Golden Strip Unite facilitates introductions between community members. We cannot guarantee the safety, reliability, character, qualifications, or conduct of any volunteer or organization listed on the Platform. Meeting with or accepting assistance from any person or group involves inherent risks that are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.

We strongly encourage all users to take appropriate personal safety precautions:

• Inform a trusted person of your plans
• Trust your instincts — you may decline any match for any reason
• Organizations should conduct their own volunteer screening for sensitive roles

• Any injury, loss, or harm resulting from volunteer activities
